• 4 days/3 nights in Changqing Reserve
• Hike to Visit a Buddhist Temple
• Sleep at the Buddhist Temple with the monks
• Visit a stay at a traditional farmhouse
• Accompanied by a porter

This tour is a unique opportunity to experience traditional rural culture and visit a remote Buddhist Temple!

We will spend one day hiking to a beautiful old temple in the Qinling Mountains and stay with the monks who live there.

Or alternatively you can stay in a local farmhouse and learn about life in rural China.

All equipment is provided and a carried by a porter... all you need to bring is personal items and your adventurous spirit!

You will also visit beautiful waterfalls and rivers and enjoy the magnificent scenery of Changqing National Nature Reserve. The Buddhist temple is a good place to see the rare Golden Monkey and we will also keep an eye out for other amazing wildlife such as the Giant Panda.

A visit to Huayang Village and a tour of the ancient street and surrounding area is also included.

Please note: The tour to the Buddhist Temple is a great privilege that the monastery has allowed and you will need to be sensitive to the lifestyle of the Monks living there.

We will of course advice you on appropriate behaviour and customs. Accommodation for men and women is separate according to Buddhist religion. There is a maximum number of tourists we can allow on this tour to visit the temple of 6 people.
